Terms of Service
Drawberry · effective 27 August 2026 · last updated 6 September 2026
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you and Redo AI, Inc., a Delaware C corporation with its principal business address at Gaffel 9, 6003 EP Weert, the Netherlands ("Redo", "we", "us", "our"). They govern your use of the Drawberry mobile application (formerly "Draw It"), the Drawberry web links and any related services (together, the "Service").
Please read these Terms carefully. By creating an account, downloading, installing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Section 17 explains how disputes are resolved, including that if you are a consumer in the EU, UK or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protections, nothing in these Terms takes away rights you cannot waive.
1. Who may use the Service
- You must be at least 13 years old. If you live in the European Economic Area or the UK and the law of your country requires a higher age to agree to terms like these or to consent to data processing (for example 16 in the Netherlands and Germany), you must be at least that age. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
- You must have a compatible device and an account with the sign-in provider your platform uses: an Apple ID on iPhone and iPad, where Sign in with Apple is the only sign-in method, or a Google account on Android, where Sign in with Google is the only sign-in method.
- You may not use the Service if we have previously suspended or terminated your account, or if you are prohibited from using it under applicable law or sanctions.
- You may hold only one account, and you may not use another person's account or let anyone else use yours.
2. The game
Drawberry is a drawing-and-guessing game. One player draws a secret word in a limited time; another watches the drawing replay and guesses. Games run between friends ("pairs"), with strangers matched in "Lightning Queue", and in multiplayer "Party Rooms". There is also a Daily Doodle — one drawing and a handful of guesses a day, with every drawer dealt their own word, which you can join or leave at any time — and an optional weekly league in which pairs are ranked by the points their turns earned that week. Correct guesses earn coins into your own wallet, which you alone spend; a daily "streak" belongs to the pair and is shared with your partner. The word banks, rules, timers, coin values, matchmaking, league and streak logic are set by us and may change as we improve the game.
The Service is available in the languages we choose to support. Features may differ by region, platform or app version, and we may add, change or remove features at any time.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your Apple ID or Google account and your device secure and tell us at legal@joinredo.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
- Nicknames are first-come, first-served, must be 2–20 characters, and must not impersonate anyone, infringe anyone's rights or be offensive. We may reclaim, change or release a nickname at our discretion, including one that has been inactive or that violates these Terms.
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. Section 12 explains what happens then.
4. Licence to use the Service
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices that you own or control — on Apple-branded devices as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service, and on Android devices as permitted by the Google Play Terms of Service — and to use the web links, solely for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment.
The Service, including its software, design, artwork, fonts, word banks, sounds, text, trademarks (including "Drawberry", "Draw It" and "Redo") and all related intellectual property, is owned by Redo or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. You may not:
- copy, modify, translate, adapt, distribute, sell, rent, lease, lend or create derivative works of the Service;
- reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code, except to the extent the law expressly permits;
- remove any proprietary notices;
- use the Service's name, logo or artwork without our written permission, other than to truthfully describe that you play the game.
5. Your content
5.1 Ownership
You own the drawings, nicknames, guesses and other content you create in the Service ("Your Content"). We do not claim ownership of it.
5.2 Licence you give us
So that the game can work, you grant Redo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable (to our service providers) licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for example to replay strokes, render thumbnails or compress), publicly display and distribute Your Content to the other players you play with, to people who open a link you or another player in that game shares, to other players of the Daily Doodle while you have it switched on (without your nickname), and as otherwise needed to operate, moderate, secure and improve the Service and to comply with law. This licence continues after you delete your account for content that other players have a legitimate interest in keeping (see section 12), and for copies kept in backups or required by law. We will not use Your Content in marketing without your separate permission, and we will not use it to train machine-learning models.
5.3 Licence to other players
When you share a drawing with another player or via a link, you allow them to view it and replay it within the Service. If you take part in the Daily Doodle, you allow players you have not played with to view and replay the drawing you make for it, shown without your nickname, for as long as you leave the Daily Doodle switched on. You do not grant anyone any other rights.
5.4 Your responsibilities
You are solely responsible for Your Content. You confirm that you have all rights needed to create and share it, and that it does not violate section 6.
5.5 Feedback
If you send us ideas, suggestions or feedback, you agree we may use them without any obligation to you.
6. Community rules and prohibited conduct
Drawberry works because people are kind to the friends and strangers they draw with. We have zero tolerance for abuse. You agree that you will not, and will not try to:
- create or share content that is sexual, pornographic or that sexualises anyone; any content sexualising minors is reported to the authorities;
- harass, bully, threaten, intimidate or defame anyone, or use drawings, nicknames or guesses to target another player;
- create or share content that is hateful, discriminatory or that promotes violence against any person or group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or other protected characteristic;
- share content that is graphically violent, promotes self-harm, terrorism or illegal activity, or that depicts real people without their consent;
- share anyone's personal information (doxxing), impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation;
- spam, advertise, solicit, or attempt to move players to other platforms for commercial purposes;
- infringe anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights;
- cheat: exploit bugs, use automated tools, bots, scripts, modified clients or emulators, manipulate matchmaking, ratings, streaks, coins or wallets, or share the secret word outside the game;
- interfere with other players' games or with the Service, including by overloading, probing or attacking our systems, bypassing rate limits or security measures, scraping data, or accessing accounts, data or areas you are not authorised to access;
- circumvent blocks, bans or suspensions, including by creating new accounts;
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of the App Store or Google Play Terms.
6.1 Reporting and blocking
Every drawing can be reported in one tap. Reporting ends the turn so you never have to keep looking at content you flagged. You can block any player from the report sheet or Settings; blocked players cannot be matched with you and cannot send you friend requests. You can also report abuse by email to abuse@joinredo.com. We review reports and act on them; we aim to act on reports of objectionable content within 24 hours.
6.2 Enforcement
We may, without prior notice and at our discretion, remove or hide content, adjust or reset coins, streaks, ratings or inventory gained through a breach, restrict features, suspend or permanently terminate accounts, and report unlawful conduct to law enforcement. Where practical and permitted by law we will tell you why and give you the opportunity to respond by emailing legal@joinredo.com.
7. Coins, items and virtual goods
- Coins, streak freezes, brushes and other in-game items ("Virtual Items") are licensed, not sold. They are a limited, revocable licence to use a feature of the Service. You have no ownership or property interest in them.
- Virtual Items have no real-world monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for money or anything of value outside the Service, cannot be transferred, sold or traded except as the game expressly allows, and are not redeemable or refundable.
- Coins and items are yours, not the pair's. The coins in your wallet and the items on your shelf belong to your account alone, and you decide what to spend them on. Streaks, and the streak freezes bought for them, belong to the pair. If your partner deletes their account or you end the pair, your wallet and your shelf are unaffected.
- We may change the price, availability, effect or balance of Virtual Items, and may modify, revoke or remove Virtual Items (including those obtained through a bug, exploit or breach) at any time. We are not liable for any such change.
- If we discontinue the Service, Virtual Items will be lost, and no refund or compensation is due, except as required by law.
8. Premium and payments
- What Premium is. Premium is an optional auto-renewable subscription, offered monthly or annually. It removes advertising and adds the premium features shown on the paywall — currently voice guessing up to a monthly minutes allowance displayed in the app, and the premium brushes, which Premium unlocks at no cost in coins. Premium does not gate core gameplay; drawing, guessing and every game mode are available without it. The price is shown in the App Store or on Google Play in your local currency before you subscribe and may change for future periods.
- Renewal and cancellation. The subscription renews automatically, and the store account you bought it with is charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period, until you cancel. You can manage or cancel it at any time in your App Store subscription settings or, on Android, in your Google Play subscriptions; if you cancel, Premium stays active until the end of the period already paid. The voice-minutes allowance resets each subscription month; unused minutes do not carry over.
- The original one-time unlock. If you bought Premium when it was sold as a one-time purchase, you keep it: it is honoured with the current Premium benefits, never renews and costs nothing further.
- The store handles payment. Purchases are made through Apple's in-app purchase system on iPhone and iPad, subject to Apple's Media Services Terms, and through Google Play's billing system on Android, subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. We never receive your payment details. Premium is tied to the Apple ID or Google account used to purchase it and can be restored on that account with "Restore purchases". It does not transfer between the two stores.
- Refunds. Requests for refunds must be made to the store you bought from — Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, or Google at play.google.com — and are decided by that store under its policies. If the store refunds, revokes or charges back a purchase, Premium is removed. Where you have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital purchase (for example within 14 days in the EU), that right is exercised through the store and may be lost when you ask us to start providing the digital content immediately.
- Taxes. Prices include applicable taxes where the store collects them; otherwise you are responsible for them.
- Family Sharing on Apple platforms and family library availability on Google Play are set in the stores' consoles and may change.
9. Advertising
The free tier shows occasional full-screen ads served by Google AdMob after a completed turn. We do not control the content of third-party ads, and advertisers are solely responsible for their offers. Your interactions with advertisers are between you and them. Our Privacy Policy explains what data the ad network receives and how to limit it. Premium removes ads.
10. Streaks, availability and changes to the Service
- Streaks depend on both players taking a turn within the game's daily window as shown in the app. Time zones, quiet hours, device clocks, notification delivery and connectivity are outside our control; a missed notification or a delay does not extend a streak window.
- We work hard to keep the Service running, but we do not guarantee it will be available, uninterrupted, error-free or free of loss. We may suspend the Service for maintenance, security or legal reasons.
- We may modify, limit or discontinue any part of the Service, or the Service as a whole, at any time. Where a change materially reduces the Service for you, we will give reasonable notice where practicable. If we discontinue the Service entirely we will give at least 30 days' notice in the app where possible.
- Losing a streak, coins, rating, a match result or other progress because of an outage, a bug, a missed notification, a device problem or a change to the Service is a disappointment, not a claim, except as section 15 and the law provide.
11. Updates and third-party software
We may release updates that install automatically (including over-the-air content updates). Some features may require the latest version. The Service uses third-party and open-source software under their own licences; the relevant notices are available in the app or on request.
12. Term and termination
12.1 By you
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from Settings → Delete account. Deleting your account erases your identity and personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. Because the game is shared, your former partners keep the streaks and the drawings made together, with your name removed; your own wallet and shelf are erased with your account. Virtual Items and Premium are not refunded on deletion (Premium remains tied to the Apple ID or Google account that bought it and may be restored if you create a new account with the same store account, subject to that store's rules).
12.2 By us
We may suspend or terminate your access, delete your account, or refuse service, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if required by law, if your account has been inactive for an extended period (we will try to notify you first), or if we discontinue the Service. If we terminate for your breach, you are not entitled to any refund. Sections that by their nature should survive (including 4, 5.2, 7, 13–19) survive termination.
13. Copyright complaints
We respect intellectual property. If you believe content in the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to legal@joinredo.com (our designated agent for notices under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act and equivalent laws) with: your contact details; identification of the work and of the infringing content (for example the nickname of the player and a description or screenshot of the drawing); a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature. We will remove or disable access to infringing content, may notify the player, and terminate repeat infringers. Players may send a counter-notice to the same address.
14. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service, Virtual Items and all content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that it is free of viruses or harmful components. We are not responsible for the conduct of any player or for content created by players, although we moderate as described in section 6. Nothing in this section limits warranties that cannot be excluded under the law of your country.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Redo and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, streaks, Virtual Items or progress, arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, however caused and under any theory of liability, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim and (b) USD 50 (or the equivalent in your currency).
These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or, for consumers in the EU and UK, for breach of the essential obligations under these Terms where the damage was foreseeable.
16. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Redo and its officers, directors, employees and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right. This does not apply to consumers to the extent the law of your country does not allow such an obligation.
17. Governing law and disputes
17.1 Talk to us first
If you have a problem, please email legal@joinredo.com with a description of the issue and how you would like it resolved. We will try in good faith to resolve it within 60 days before either of us starts formal proceedings.
17.2 Governing law
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to them or the Service are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, and the federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules — except that if you are a consumer habitually resident in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland or another country whose law grants you mandatory protections, you also benefit from the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and nothing in this section deprives you of them. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
17.3 Where disputes are heard
Subject to section 17.4, you and Redo agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the State of Delaware, USA. If you are a consumer in the EU, UK or Switzerland, you may instead bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, and we may bring proceedings against you only there. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr; we are not obliged to and do not currently participate in alternative dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board.
17.4 Arbitration and class-action waiver (United States residents only)
If you reside in the United States, you and Redo agree that any dispute not resolved under section 17.1 will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either party may seek injunctive relief in court for infringement of intellectual property. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. The arbitrator may award the same relief as a court on an individual basis. You and Redo each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class, collective or representative action. If the class-action waiver is found unenforceable for a particular claim, that claim must be heard in court, not arbitration. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing legal@joinredo.com with your nickname and the words "arbitration opt-out" within 30 days of first accepting these Terms; opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms.
17.5 Time limit
To the extent permitted by law, any claim relating to the Service must be brought within one year after it arose, or it is permanently barred. This does not apply to consumers where the law sets a longer mandatory period.
18. Store-specific terms
18.1 Apple
These Terms are between you and Redo only, not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content. The following applies because the app is distributed through the App Store:
- Your licence is limited to a non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the App Store Terms of Service, except that the app may be accessed by other accounts associated with you via Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
- If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app (if any) to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility.
- Redo, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation.
- In the event of any third-party claim that the app or your possession and use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Redo, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of the claim.
- You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- You must comply with applicable third-party terms (for example your wireless data agreement) when using the app.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce them against you.
18.2 Google Play
These Terms are between you and Redo only, not with Google LLC ("Google"). If you obtained the app from Google Play:
- your use of the app is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service then in force, and to Google's policies for the Play store;
- Google is not a party to these Terms and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app;
- Redo, not Google, is responsible for the app, for its content, and for any claim relating to it, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation;
- refunds for purchases made through Google Play are handled under Google's published refund policy, as section 8 describes.
19. General
- Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will notify you in the app (and by email where we have your address) at least 14 days before it takes effect, unless the change is required by law or addresses a security or abuse issue, in which case it may take effect immediately. If you do not agree to the changed Terms, delete your account before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept them.
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional rules shown in the app, are the entire agreement between you and Redo about the Service and replace any earlier agreements.
- Severability. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
- Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account. We may assign these Terms to an affiliate or a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets; we will notify you as required by law.
- Force majeure. We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages of Apple, Supabase, Google or other providers, internet failures, natural disasters, war, labour disputes or government action.
- Export control. You agree to comply with all applicable export and sanctions laws.
- Language. These Terms are written in English. Any translation is provided for convenience; if there is a conflict, the English version prevails to the extent permitted by law.
- Notices. We may notify you inside the app, by push notification or by email. Notices to us go to legal@joinredo.com or by post to the address below; formal legal process may be served on our registered agent.
- No third-party beneficiaries other than Apple as described in section 18.1.
